Jeff Weiss is the founder and C.E.O. of Atlantis Worldwide, LLC. Jeff grew up in McAllen, Texas at the southernmost tip of Texas at the Mexican border. After earning a B.S. in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, Jeff spent a year traveling in Europe and the Middle East while studying at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Upon returning to the United States, Jeff studied for a J.D. at Washington University in St. Louis, then earned a Masters in International Management at Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, AZ. When Jeff arrived in New York City, he learned the business of international trade by working for the world’s largest privately owned steel and metal trading company in both its New York and London offices. Jeff started Atlantis in 1993, working in his apartment (with his cat) after borrowing $600 to purchase a fax machine. Within 3 months, Jeff moved Atlantis to offices in the trendy, but at the time dilapidated Flatiron district of Manhattan. For the past twenty-one years Jeff has resided in the Upper West Side of Manhattan and is enjoying the best time of his life with his wife Paula and nine year old son Eli.

Tim was born in Spokane, Washington where he still resides today. He graduated from Washington State University where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and a Minor in economics. Tim started his career selling to the diagnostic imaging market with Picker International in 1984 where he immediately fell in love with CT technology. Over the span of 28 years, he has had the opportunity to represent just about every imaging modality, providing him with a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge in the various markets that define diagnostic imaging.  Tim recently joined the team at Atlantis Worldwide to manage the SafeCT low dose product sales team.  In his spare time he likes to play golf, fly fish and spend time with his family.

With almost 30 years in the business of diagnostic imaging, Norm has developed, owned and managed diagnostic imaging centers, as well as provided consultation to hospitals and groups hoping to initiate or grow their radiology business. He has led sales teams for GE Medical and Toshiba America Medical and was the number one MRI Sales Specialist for Picker International and Toshiba America Medical Systems.

In addition to his role at Atlantis Worldwide, Norm is also the current President of the Healthcare Planning and Marketing Society of New Jersey; Chair of the PeRCy Awards, which site the best in Hospital Planning, Marketing or Public Relations; and a member of the Society for Health Strategy and Market Development. He is preparing for the Board of Governors examination for Fellowship designation in the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a regular reviewer of articles for the International Journal of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Marketing. Norm’s unique experience and business acumen provide his customers at Atlantis Worldwide with insight and consultative support they seek when dealing with the issues of acquiring and marketing replacement imaging equipment.

Stuart Egles is Atlantis Worldwides’ team leader for C-Arm sales to providers of medical imaging services such as hospitals, ASCs, and Imaging Centers throughout the USA. Stuart identifies with, and understands the specific issues that concern his clients. Stuart studied sociology at the University of Maryland and is a seasoned professional salesperson with over thirty years of experience. After a career in the fashion industry, Stuart spent several years in sales management in the telecommunication equipment sector. He lives in Westchester County New York with his wife and daughters, and spends his spare time collecting sports memorabilia and pursuing his passion for photography.

Erik earned his degree from a University in Germany. There, he was educated about the needs of international clients, and learned the different business cultures of the world. While a salesman first, Erik is a logistical and operational professional as well, and can adapt to successfully bring large projects to completion. On his personal time, Erik loves to travel (especially to his mountain home out west) and attend concerts of all musical genres. In the past year he has seen Prince, U2, Sade, Paul Simon, and Pearl Jam. Plus, he will admit to seeing Barry Manilow again! Despite all of his work and fun time, Erik still devotes a significant amount of time doing volunteer work with people in need.

Alex was born and raised in New York and is currently living in New York City. He is an alumnus of Syracuse University where he obtained a Bachelors of Science and had a dual concentration in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. He began his career selling print advertising prior to accepting a position with Atlantis Worldwide in October of 2008 as an X-Ray salesman in the domestic market. He is an avid sports fan and he is a die-hard Mets, Jets, Knicks and Rangers fan, for better or for worse. He is also passionate about music and wine.

Aston was in US Army Reserve serving 8 years as a Paramedic before he enrolled in the University of Puerto Rico and studied Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. He began working in the refurbished and used medical imaging equipment business with his cousin and initially assisted in sales and ultimately began selling a significant number of Ultrasound systems. As the business grew, Aston noticed that the island of Puerto Rico had its limitations so he moved back to NYC with the hopes of working with a world-class company that specialized in the Medical Diagnostic Imaging Market.

Aston has been working for Atlantis since 2004, and has been growing the Latin American Market to unprecedented heights. He has recently moved to and opened a new office/warehouse in Miami in order to continue to expand Atlantis’ commitment to the Latin American Market.

Tindu is a born and raised resident of New York City. She studied business Management at Monroe Community College in the Bronx for 1 year before transferring to Interboro Institute where she received an Associates Degree in Business Management. Tindu has been with Atlantis Worldwide for over fifteen years as Director of Acquisitions. Her interests outside of Atlantis Worldwide include spending time with her family, watching reality TV shows, and listening to music.

Since graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York with a degree in Advertising and Design, Vikki has continually worked in a field that she is extremely passionate about. Vikki has worked as a Marketing Director in many different markets, including a software company that distributed Customer Relationship Management software and a giftware company that designed, manufactured and distributed its products to museums and tourist locations around the world. Her position at Atlantis has now put her into the healthcare market, and the fast-paced, challenging opportunity suits her perfectly. In her spare time away from work she enjoys travelling, gardening and hosting parties for family and friends.

Markisha was born and raised in Westchester County where she currently resides.  She has been the Office Manager at Atlantis Worldwide for over 3 years and her responsibility includes assisting the president, bookkeeping and human resources.  Prior to joining Atlantis she worked in the mortgage industry for nine years and is currently working towards a degree in accounting.  Markisha enjoys spending her time away from work with her son.

David is originally from El Salvador and has been a resident of Yonkers for 26 years and has been working at Atlantis since 2005. He is diligent about packing and or crating our digital equipment for proper shipping purposes. The building maintenance and operations runs smoothly under his care. In his spare time David enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons. He also is a fan of the Yankees, Jets and Red Bulls.

Robin has been working part time at Atlantis Worldwide since February of 2009. She is a full time student majoring in Psychology and will complete her Associates degree in December 2011.

Risy is originally from Cuba and has been a resident of Florida for over 43 years.  She has been a Legal Assistant for over 15 years and a Mortgage Broker for 7 years.  Risy is working as an Assistant for Aston Diaz Director of Latin America in our Miami Office.  Her interests outside of Atlantis is spending some quality time with her father fishing, boating and going to the beach with her family and friends.
